how to make graph with total bandwitch from IN & OUT octets ?

    Hi,

I monitor my switch and i have 2 items to monitor IN & OUT bandwith.
This works fine, but in my graph i have to lines.
One from IN, and one from OUT (i also have 2 items added to my graph of course).
Now i would like only ONE graph from these 2 graph so that i have the total in & out bandwith in one graph.
    Is that possible ?

    thnx,
    Phil.

    Not sure I understood ...

... but if you go to Configuration > Graphs you can create custom graphs, with multiple items coming from different hosts, etc...

First create the graph (which will be empty) and then add the different items you want.

    Hope it helps

If the interface u have is full duplex. Then total bandwidth is nothing but the MAX(IN, OUT). Since u already displaying both IN and OUT usage in one screen, that should serve ur purpose. No need to calculate total bandwidth .

      Refer: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk64...8009496e.shtml

To give bandwidth in percentage use this formula:
Bandwidth IN or OUT = (Delta of Octets * 8 *100)/(Delta seconds * Line speed)

      Working...
