Updating Template after discovery

Yes, my 1st post here. Old Nagios user trying to learn Zabbix.

Using Zabbix 6.4.3 on AlmaLinux 9.2

And have a question.

The Default 'Linux by Zabbix agent' monitors the network connections every 3 minutes.

Tried going into each monitor like the docs mention, but the 'Update interval' field is grayed out, and won't allow a change.
So I updated the template to 1 minute, and applied the changes. Then went into each monitor and used the 'Unlink', and readded, but it still had the old 3 minute search.

So my question is, is there a way to update the without doing the "Unlink and clear'?

If you change in template it should affect all the hosts, where this template is installed, immediately. If you did your change in item prototype, then you need to wait at least until that discovery runs again. No need to unlink and clear anything...

I found what I wanted to modify under: Templates -> Linux by Zabbix agent -> Discovery rules -> Network interface discovery -> Item prototypes

Changed the Interval to 1m. But did not update on the monitors.
