what tables can i manually empty safely ?

hi,

i updated from 1.1 to 1.1.4.
One of the reasons was that i think the housekeeping and deletion of old history was not done right.

But can i manually empty tables in zabbix ?
what about the biggest like:

history
history_log
history_uint
trends

can i safely empty all the data in these tables ? and how do i do it (don't know much about mysql) ?

and how is the 'housekeeping' done ? can i manipulate it ?

Have you tested the delete history functions in zabbix ?

yes, but i hav a lot of items!
i would like to delete history of all in one time.
I don't think that's possible now.
