Deleted servers come back after one day

Hi,

have problem with deleted servers - after one day servers come back.

To discovery is used ping and snmp v2 in 1day interval.

Server appears again with IP of iLO and all groups, which he has before delete. Servers iLO is physically disconected from network, ping dont answer.

Zabbix 6.0.17

Any ideas why?

If the host was created as a result of "network discovery", then deleting the "hos"t does not delete the "fact" of its discovery and the information in the database tables related to the discovery.
Either exclude the host address from the network detection range or clear the information in the database.

finally it works!



No idea what mean, if it is important:
delete from dhosts where dhostid not in (select distinct dhostid from dservices);

After sql query just delete the host via web and he dont appears again.

There are 2 big parts of network discovery: hosts and services.
The first part of sql deletes services and the second (which you are asking about) hosts for which there are no more services.

dhosts - discovered hosts
dservices - discovered services
