    Zabbix Agents Auto-registration > Zabbix Proxys > Zabbix Main Server

    Hello everyone,

    I have a few questions. I would like to implement proxy in my environment.

    Here's my idea:

    I have installed zabbix server 3.0.3 on debian and 2x zabbix proxy. Also I use agents for auto-registration on my zabbix server.

    I want to make active check of zabbix agents to the proxy servers, than collected data will be received to main zabbix server.

    My Zabbix Agents is behind NAT and sent the data Active to the
    > Proxy1,Proxy2 > Active to Zabbix Server.

    Example:
    This is my Client#1 configuration file:

    ############# zabbix_agentd.conf / Username
    LogFile=c:\zabbix_agentd.log
    Server=IP-Proxy-1:10051,IP-Proxy-2:10052,IP-Zabbix-server
    ServerActive=Proxy-1:10051,Proxy-2:10052
    HostMetadata=Windows 21df83bf21bf0bsade663090bb
    HostnameItem=system.hostname
    #RefreshActiveChecks=120
    #EnableRemoteCommands=1
    DebugLevel=3
    Timeout=3

    This is my Proxy-1 Configuration file:

    ### Option: ProxyMode
    # Proxy operating mode.
    # 0 - proxy in the active mode
    # 1 - proxy in the passive mode
    #
    # Mandatory: no
    # Default:
    ProxyMode=1

    Server=IP-Zabbix-server
    Hostname=proxy-1
    ListenPort=10051
    DBName=*****
    DBUser=*****
    DBPassword=****

    This is my Proxy-2 Configuration file:

    ### Option: ProxyMode
    # Proxy operating mode.
    # 0 - proxy in the active mode
    # 1 - proxy in the passive mode
    #
    # Mandatory: no
    # Default:
    ProxyMode=1

    Server=IP-Zabbix-server
    Hostname=proxy-2
    ListenPort=10052
    DBName=*****
    DBUser=*****
    DBPassword=****

    Please help! Where is the mistake?

    Thanks

    First of all: are you aware that these two proxies listed in ServerActive agent settings needs to be connected to two different servers? and you IP-Zabbix-server will be working as a 3rd point of delivery monitoring data only if this server will be requesting to monitor some passive items?

    Second: if you want to use active agent all what you need is assign in autoregistration proxy template(s) with "zabbix agent (active) " as type of the agent items.
