Severity of triggers not matching to the template configuration

    Dear all,
I am using Zabbix 6.0 on a Debian 11 VM.

I created hosts for monitoring my Cisco switches, and I linked them to the Cisco IOS SNMP template. Everything is working fine and triggers are raised for problems. One of them is the "Interface {#IFNAME}({#IFALIAS}): Link down" trigger, inherited from the template. The default severity is "Average" but I'd like to change it to "Warning". I did it on the parent trigger, however all the triggers of the children keep getting the "Average" severity. I also tried to select all of them and mass update the severity, but I cannot get this working as expected.

Anybody could help me to sort this out?

    Thank you in advance
    Alessandro

This seems to be a trigger generated from prototype. So you need to edit that prototype and wait until discovery runs again. After that your severity should be changed.

      Hello Cyber
I did this but for all existing discovered triggers the severity is not changed. I am then trying to edit it but I always get an error message "Cannot update trigger: Invalid parameter "/": cannot be empty" (see attached image).

      Any idea?

      Thank you for your support
