How to monitor linux mysql service using zabbix

Hi team,

Can any body tell me how to monitor the linux mysql service status. I have created the below item key but its not working.

service.info[mysql,]

Where is the wrong can any body tell me. i need only service is up/down.

proc.num is your choice

For Linux processes, you have to use the "proc.num[<name>,<user>,<state>,<cmdline>]" key.
In this case, it would probably be something like "proc.num[mysqld,,run]" --> This returns the number of processes of name 'mysqld' and state 'run'.
