Global Dashboard export?

I created a few equipment specific dashboards, under the Monitor - Global View section, that I would like to export and replicate in a different Zabbix instance. Is there a method for exporting the Global Dashboards (not the template dashboard) and importing them into a separate Zabbix instance?

I'll ask the same question a little differently...What's the best way to back up Zabbix? Should I periodically backup the entire Zabbix directory? Is there a few config and database files that just need to be backed up? Please let me know if there's a best practice to backup and restore Zabbix..THX!

Zabbix keeps all its data in DB. Only some config is in "files", to be able to find that DB.. So back up your DB...
You really cannot export dashboards... your other instance would have all the items etc with different ID-s, so it would not match anything.

Thanks Cyber!!! I had to learn how to use the SCP command and mysqldump but that worked perfectly. This will be helpful for backup/recovery as well as a baseline template as I onboard future clients.
