    Monitoring Scheduled Tasks

    Hello,

    I am new to Zabbix. I am running Zabbix 6.4 and Zabbix Agent 6.4.5

    I need to monitor a scheduled task and from searching the internet it seems the best way is to look at the Windows event logs for information on the task. I have an item that I think is setup properly, but I am getting a "Not Supported" in the status of the item.

    Type: Zabbix agent (active)
    Key: eventlog[Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler/Operational,"\DSI.XPI.Current-Prod"]
    Type of information: Log
    Update interval: 1m

    Any help would be great appreciated.

    Not supported usually has red "!" also nearby, what is the error there, if you click on that?

      Hi Cyber,

      Thanks for the reply. I did not notice the "!" until now. It says "Accessible only as active check", but I have the type as "Zabbix agent (active)".

        Thanks Cyber for pointing me in the right direction. I had to edit the agent config with the correct port for ServerActive.
