    Passive Checks Preventing Sleep Mode

I'm just starting out on my Zabbix journey and wanted to check if I'm correct about Passive Checks preventing my Windows machines from going to sleep. I've had a look through the manuals and forum but can't find anything to confirm.

I've installed the Agent2 on a few Windows test machines and am finding they won't now go to sleep when idle. According to Event Log it's the network that's waking them up. Based on my testing it only seems to happen if I'm using any Passive checks, I've switched all checks to Active and the machines then will go to sleep. My presumption is it's the call from the Zabbix server that is forcing my machines to stay awake when the checks are in Passive mode. Is that a known thing?

    That seems logical to me.

Is that different from what you were expecting?

Thanks for replying - not particularly, just wondered if it was expected behaviour as I couldn't find anything to document it.
