Problem with dynamic IP.

I am monitoring various clients with Zabbix in my home network. I do not have problems if the others PC have a static IP address. My problem, instead, is following: how can Zabbix Server talks with a host that does not have a static IP address? In my net I do not have a Server DNS (I specify this because I have read in other posts in the forum that is possible to insert in the field "IP Address", when I create a Host, the DNS name). I have also tried to edit the file "/etc/hosts" inserting the hostname of the machine i want to monitor with the correspondent IP address assigned to it by my DHCP Server, but it does not work.
Please help me because I do not know what to say to my university professor (I am preparing my Thesis!!!).

I think I have understood as the service Dynamic DNS works but I have still a question to make. How do the client that has the task to update the database of DynDNS and that run on the machine with the dynamic IP gives the information to Zabbix Server?

Another question!!! But if the hosts that I am monitoring are not connected to Internet and IP addresses change, the DynDNS client cannot more update the database. Moreover also the machine on which Zabbix Server runs must be connected to Internet. Therefore if the Management Station and the hosts I am monitoring are not connected to Internet the entire system does not work because Zabbix Server don't know the IP addresses anymore. Please tell me that it is not true because I have a panic attack!!!

Zabbix server IP address should be set in the ServerActive parameter. Also: the agent hostname should match the host name (not the DNS name or the IP) in the server. I'm not sure if it's possible that Zabbix could monitor a IMCP Ping without the Zabbix agent though, just with the template.
