    zabbix and windows 10

So I have a windows 10 workstation with the correct zabbix_agent.conf pointing to the server. I restarted the zabbix service and the server still connot see the client the zabbix service for this workstation is red not green. Any ideas? I have turned off windows firewall on this workstation.

error I am getting is: Get value from agent failed: cannot connect to [[192.168.1.189]:10050]: [4] Interrupted system call

Test it first using telnet command on port 10050.
If it will be not possible to connect using telnet check your FW and is it really agent process is running agent.

        How did you fix it?

        I'm having the same problem.

My Windows 10 machine can see the Zabbix Server, but the server doesn't see the Agent neither the machine at all

          Hi mxmzs,
Please check your firewall settings on Windows 10.

Indeed the problem is the firewall.

At first, I've tried to set incoming and outgoing rules for the Zabbix ports but didn't work. It only works when I disable the Firewall which is something I don't like to do.

              Hi,

Passive agent checks requires incoming 10050 port on windows firewall
Active agent checks requires outgoing 10051 port on windows firewall

              hope it helps,
              Kaspars
