    SNMP V3 Remote Engine ID : Where do i find

    hello

    i'm running zabbix V6.4.6 fine and monitoring some aruba switches with snmp

    Now i have also a TP-link , but this switch ask for a remote engine ID .
    Where do i find this ID in zabbix ?

    Switch asks for? What for? You should be good, if you have configured auth/priv settings for snmp polls in zabbix. If you want to accept traps from that device in zabbix, then you may need engineID of that device to configure snmptrapd...
    But for polling it is not needed. If you poll your device from command line, you are not specifying an engine ID there also...

      in TP-link i have the choice for

      creating a User : a Local User or a Remote user , there i put the credentials of the user
      When i choose a remote user i need to enter the Remote Engine ID

      on other switches i don't have any problem

        As long as I understand, you do not need that remote user.. If you configure local user, you can use all those credentials on Zabbix side to configure all the polls.
