Zabbix Database Space Requirements

I would like to calculate how much space should I allocate for zabbix database. As well as CPU/RAM for one zabbix server

I have about 250 linux hosts
I would have about 65 items per hosts at 60sec interval
I would like to keep data for one year, but not necessarily to be looked up in graphs etc for more than 2 months or so.


How large database are we talking here?
According to some calculation I made , it would come up to like 600GB database per year? Thats seem to be very large

Any hints, suggestions and calculations are much appreciated.

Space needed = Configuration + History + Trends + Events
126 GB for 2 months history
13 GB for trend 1 year
16 GB for Events for 3 years

If my calculation are correct, you might need around 155 GB.

Please note that that

The disk space will NOT be used immediately after Zabbix installation. Database size will grow then it will stop growing at some point, which depends on housekeeper settings.
