    Very Old Migration - v2.0.1 to v6

I have just inherited a Zabbix 2.0.1 server - its not even Halloween yet!

Instead of trying to upgrade that server, as its Debian 6, I have built a new Zabbix server on AlmaLinux 8 with MariaDB 11.

What would be the best method for me to migrate over all the hosts, host groups, trends, templates, etc. from Zabbix 2 to Zabbix 6?

https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...lation/upgrade At least it suggest you can do it..
    Direct upgrade to Zabbix 6.4.x is possible from Zabbix 6.2.x, 6.0.x, 5.4.x, 5.2.x, 5.0.x, 4.4.x, 4.2.x, 4.0.x, 3.4.x, 3.2.x, 3.0.x, 2.4.x, 2.2.x and 2.0.x
Read all that upgrade procedures manual carefully...

I guess you need to prepare the new environment (for 6.0), copy over the OLD database (with old schema etc) and then let server do the upgrade tasks during first startup... And then trying to resolve every issue that pops up during the process...I would not expect it to go smoothly...
