MySQL Partitioning for Zabbix 2.4

Just to confirm, the instructions for partitioning with MySQL for Zabbix 2.2.x work as well with Zabbix 2.4.x?

If you are talking about MySQL partitioning (2.x.x) then yes, procedure is the same like 2.2 version.

Also I recommend you use partitioning only for history* and trends* tables, for all other, use Zabbix housekeeper.

Was there any reason for the limitation of the partitioning to history* and trends* tables? Just curious.
