    Map labels show *UNKNOWN* on v3.0

    Hi all. Been struggling friday and today with this.

    Since upgrading from v2.4 to v3.0 last Friday all the map dynamic labels have stopped working and I get *UNKNOWN*. I'm still learning Zabbix so not really sure where to go with this, but maps and live data in labels is great - when it works.

    The macro was working fine prior to the upgrade and looks like this:
    Code:
    LAN1:{<server-name>:net.if.in[Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet].last(0)}
    In addition - can someone please confirm how to get the icmppingsec value into a label? I'm using:

    Code:
    {{HOST.NAME}:icmppingsec[{HOST.IP},,,,].last(0)}
    Which is probably wrong. If so - how do I get it right? Please.......

    btw - the ICMP template is working fine. At last!

      OUT:{servername:net.if.out[Intel(R) Ethernet Server Adapter X520-2 #2].last(0)}

      Mine works as above

          Morning Limbooface, thanks for that. Tried both with no joy.

          Can anyone confirm what the Zabbix directory and file permissions should be? Just wondering if that's changed during the upgrade. Is there a list of correct permissions anywhere?

          Also - can anyone point me in the right direction regarding the ping thing in the OP?

            Anyone else seen this and fixed it - I've wasted pretty much a day on it today.

            Its driving me nuts - was working fine before the v3 upgrade. Does the upgrade change the db schema or file permissions or anything? Clutching at straws here.

            Would also really like to get ping response times in the maps as well - that is one of my users most requested features but just can't see how to do it. Tried the syntax a dozen or 3 ways, rtm 1000 times.

              FINALLY!! Just got it working!

              I was reading another post and the poster said he looked inside the triggers to see what they were calling.

              This....

              {{HOST.HOST}:icmppingsec.avg(5m)}

              No idea why it worked copying and pasting from a trigger when it didn't typing it in. Anyway - its working now, that's the main thing.

              Friday Afternoon Happiness!
