Are pings sent from the zabbix server or from the host you registered it in? It might be a dumb question but it really bothers me thinking about it

to make my point clear, i need to check the ping from host a to host b, but im afraid if zabbix doesn't lose the communication with host b i will still get a good response from the ping check, is this correct? or if the ping item is inside Host A it will show the ping from host A to host B?
