Question about Actions (suppressing OFF triiggers)

ACTION A) I have One action requiring ONE condition to email me as zabbix admin on ANY Severity=high

ACTION B) I have OTHER Actions that require TWO Conditions 1) The trigger=is reached.... and 2) that the value=ON This set the severity to "high"

For Action B the team that gets those e-mails works fine....they do not get the OFF triggers...

But myself as Admin why would I still get the OFF Actions. (I know its from the severity=high ONLY action because I hard text into the email the email says "from severity is high" only. Aren't the conditions additive. I would have thought that I would NOT get the OFF emails either. Here is a picture of the action definition and my email as zabbix admin..

I hope I am explaining clearly.

In action A you aren't specifying whether a trigger value in teh conditions, so you will get an email whenever a trigger changes, on or off. Since you have value=ON set for action B that's why they are receiving an email only when the trigger becomes On.

Each action is complete seperate from another action.

      Thank you Dan..

I thought so but wasn't sure. Your key statement that "Any Actions are UN-related to other Actions" really helped. It is the trigger that triggered.

Hope this may help someone else.
