    Z3001 connection to database 'zabbix' failed: [2002] Can't connect to server on (13)

    Hello Guys,

    I have 1 server for the zabbix server and 1 server for the database. When I try to launch Zabbix I get this error:

    The error message says that it is not possible to connect to the database, but when I remotely access the database through the zabbix server, I can connect to the database

    I have disabled the Selinux

    SELINUX=disabled

    This is my setup on file /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf

    DBHost=10.126.101.156
    DBName=zabbix
    DBPassword=password
    DBPort=3306

    What am I doing wrong? Could you help me please?

    this issue was fixed by disabled the SELINUX
    From selinux: Enforcing to selinux: Disabled

        selinux is there for a reason. Your issue may be resolved by disabling it, but you may cause a lot of other by it (specially security related issues). So instead of disabling it, it would more useful to add missing policies or turn on some booleans etc...
