Hello Forum Members,
I'm currently in the process of integrating Zabbix with a Cisco device via SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), and I'm encountering some challenges. Specifically, I'm trying to achieve, e.g., monitor bandwidth usage, track interface status, etc.
Here are the details of what I've attempted so far:
SNMP Configuration on Cisco Device:
I've enabled SNMP on the Cisco device and ensured that the community strings match with the ones configured in Zabbix.
Zabbix Configuration:
In Zabbix, I've added the Cisco device as a host and set the SNMP version to match the one used on the Cisco device.
Added SNMP Templates:
I've associated relevant SNMP templates within Zabbix for Cisco devices.
Despite these steps, I'm still not seeing the desired data in Zabbix. It's possible I might be overlooking a crucial detail or configuration option.
Has anyone successfully integrated Zabbix with a Cisco device via SNMP and encountered a similar issue? Are there any specific settings or checks I should be aware of? Any insights or advice on how to troubleshoot this further would be immensely appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
