Should I disable Active checks on Agents?

I only enabled Active checks on Agents so I could auto-register hosts.
I've set the RefreshActive check to 15 minutes
But reading this, it says agent will get a list of tasks and then keep on working on it?

"The agent then periodically sends the new values to the server(s)."
So does my agents send data every few seconds after active checks processing while also reply back with data for passive checks? Or does it send after 15 minutes (when it refreshes active checks)? I only want auto-registration.

I hope it doesn't process anything, other than sending hostname, IP:PORT and server isn't sending any list of checks to perform?

Okay I get it. The list of checks are sent only if the items type is "Zabbix Agent (Active)"

"Zabbix agent processes items of type 'Zabbix agent' or 'Zabbix agent (active)'; whether to perform passive or active checks is configured by selecting the respective monitoring item type."

I guess that means zabbix agent will send only the HOSTNAME:IP:PORT every few minutes and asks for any new checks.
