    Installation - mysql not installed

    Hi all,

please for advice. I am installing on Debian 12, using https://www.zabbix.com/cz/download?z...debian&os_vers ion=12&components=server_frontend_agent&db=mysql&w s=apache.

    Between 2b and 2c I have run:

    mysql -uroot -p

    But I have an error
    ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local server through socket '/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2).

It seems to not to be installed service mysql. On webmin I can see:
MariaDB error messageThe full MariaDB error message was : connect to server at 'localhost' failed error: 'Can't connect to local server through socket '/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)' Check that mariadbd is running and that the socket: '/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' exists!

Failed to start mysql.service: Unit mysql.service not found.

    Could you help me, please?

    Thanks, John K.
