    No package zabbix-agent2 available

    Hi everyone, I am new in zabbix. After set up zabbix server I'm trying to install zabbix-agent2 on Centos 6.6. I followed the instructions on Zabbix website, but after repo installation I am able to install only zabbix-agent and not the agent2.
    When I send the command 'yum install zabbix-agent2' the answer is "No package zabbix-agent2 available"

    Does anybody could share any solutions or suggestions ?

    Thanks in advance

    Did you use this documents to install the agent2?
    Zabbix is being downloaded over 4 000 000 times every year for a reason. Download and install Zabbix for free and try it yourself!

      Yes, I used the info on official web site. I need to set on yum.conf sslverify=false because the certificate is expired. However I set up the zabbix repo, but the package agent-zabbix2 in not available. I find zabbix-agent only.

      My Centos distro is 32 bit

      Is there any way to install zabbix-agent2 ?

      Thanks

        What version of Zabbix have you installed? Even 4.0LTS does not run on 6.6 any more... Needs at least 7...
        Your OS is so ancient, that there might not be any agent2 package for it ...

          Zabbix server 6.4 LTS on Debian 11

          Centos 6.6 32bits is the server where I need to install zabbix agent 2

            Yes, looks like we do not ship agent 2 for i386 version of the platform. You are free to build one yourself:
            Code:
            $ sudo yum -y install git wget pcre-devel
            $ cd /usr/local
            $ sudo wget https://go.dev/dl/go1.21.3.linux-386.tar.gz
            $ sudo tar xzvf go1.21.3.linux-386.tar.gz
            $ mkdir ~/git
            $ cd ~/git
            $ git clone https://git.zabbix.com/scm/zbx/zabbix.git --depth 1 --branch 6.4.7
            $ cd zabbix
            $ sudo yum groupinstall 'Development Tools'
            $ export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/go/bin
            $ ./bootstrap.sh
            $ ./configure --prefix=$(pwd) --enable-agent2
            $ make -s install
            $ sbin/zabbix_agent2 --help
            Find out about latest golang version: https://go.dev/dl/

              Thanks a lot Dimir !
              could you share the init.d file to configure the service ?

              Morever, I build the agent2 but if I run zabbix-agent2 -f I have to press Ctrl+C to exit

              Thanks
