    Is 3.0 official for Centos6?

    Hi,

I am on centos 6 with zabbix 2.4. I wanted to know if a package is available for zabbix 3.0 compatible with centos6.

Also, if available, can I upgrade from 2.4 to 3.0?

I can't speak to the upgrade because I deployed 2.4 and 3.0 separately, but yes, 3.0 is available for centos 6 (initially, it seemed to be only centos 7, but that changed).

Packages for CentOS 6(RHEL 6) is released.
However, it is thought that it is deprecated.
Because the packages in a deprecated directory is located.

The package to not available SMTP authentication.
And, PHP 5.4 or later is required for the environment.

        Yeah. thanks for your replies.

Actually, even as far as I know, not all the packages are available for centos6 on zabbix repo to be installed using yum.

If all the packages are available, then it should be fine installing 3.0 on centos 6.
Also, the documentation still says it is supported for centos 7.

        Quoting the documentation :
"Supported for versions: RHEL 7, Oracle Linux 7, CentOS 7

Some packages (agent, proxy, etc) are available for RHEL 5 and RHEL 6, too."
