Automatic inventory not being populated even when automatic inventory mode is set

Hi All,

Below is the query regarding inventory:-

Automatic inventory mode is set and then host is configured and added items like system.hw.cpu[all] , system.hw.devices[pci] and system.sw.arch


zabbix server and zabbix agent both are on ubuntu

Automatic inventory not being populated even when automatic inventory mode is set

Even when host is configured with automatic inventory still inventory is not getting updated?? I don't know why it is happening. It is working fine in case of manual inventory updation. I am able to see inventory overview correctly

automatic inventory is working correctly now

We found the solution for this issue.

When automatic inventory is set at the time of creating item there is a field naming "Populates host inventory field" like software, OS , hardware depending on the key.
