Help with down and up on servers

Hello,

I am monitoring servers with agent.ping, zabbix server send a ping to zabbix agent on another server but even when zabbix agent is down, it still show 1 (Up), when I want it to show 0 (Down).

Zabbix agent only showing value 1 and other nodata() during agent not available. You can also use ICMP for host Up and Down.

Problem with ICMP, it's not the best option compared to agent.ping because you have to allow port ICMP on firewalls and when you want to monitor alot of servers with a firewall it's getting complicated. However with agent.ping you can't set 1 or 0 as you said so I cannot do my monitoring correctly, but i'll still thank you.
