First things first, you said you created a VirtualBox? Which OS is running on that VirtualBox image?

I've succesfully installed Zabbix on different kind of servers like CentOS and also Ubuntu.

Have you seen this documentation? https://www.zabbix.com/documentation..._from_packages

      maybe it was my mistake?

Sorry, my mistake. I thought you installed an OS first and then tried to install Zabbix. I would recommend to first install CentOS or Ubuntu server because then you learn how to set it up all by your self. If you need help, just ask.
