I am not seeing email for all problems under monitoring

Hello,

I have email configured and I know it works for some problems for example ICMP ping template, I get notified when hosts are not reachable by ping. But under Monitoring > Problems I have other problems that I am NOT receiving an email for. How do I get an email for all of the problems that I am seeing?

Is it because you don't have at least "Read" access to the host in question?
