Changing alerts based on host groups

I have Zabbix setup and have a media type sending off tickets to our ITSM ticket system. We have different host groups for our dev/test and production hosts. How would I go about setting something at the host group level to allow the alerts that come in for production hosts to have a higher priority than alerts for dev/test hosts? I don't think macros exist at the host group level, but it still seems like there is probably a way to achieve this

Nice, this will work. I feel like host group macros would make it a little cleaner so hopefully that happens in the future, but this will certainly do until if and when that happens. Thanks!
