I have a local and remote ESX server(8.0U2) that I would like to monitor with Zabbix. I noticed that Zabbix has 4 templates that could be applicable, VMware, FQDN, Guest, and Hypervisor. I would like to split the monitoring, by monitoring the ESX server components separately from the vms. How would you configure Zabbix to do this?
