Create clone of templates in Zabbix .

I am creating clone and full clone of templates in zabbix but I don't know that after clicking on clone/ full clone what will be the further steps ?


Can someone , provide me exact steps to create clone/full clone of templates ?

Alos how Can I use these clone/Full clone ?

Create clone of templates in Zabbix .

Hi Mudit,

cloning a host will carry over the basic configuration - host name, IP, Template, proxy, etc.

A full clone will carry over the basic config plus any other items such as graphs assigned to the host, profile information. If you go to a template and try both options, you will see with the full clone some more information boxes open up down the page. Those are the items that would carry over.

For me, I really only use full clone if I want to carry over graphs that I have assigned to the host I am cloning from.
