    ESXi Server Monitoring - Graphs

    Hello all,

I have setup an ESXi server for monitoring. Its set with the VMware, VMware Guest, and VMware Hypervisor templates. I have also included SNMP V2 monitoring of the ESXi server. When I look at the data it shows that I have graph data but no graphs are showing up. Do I need to add something or am I missing something in the host monitoring?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Is template contain the Graph? Did you checked in Monitoring->Latest data? You can check the item graph here also.

Yes I misconfigured the SNMP side and then it started to populate. Now I am getting data and graphs but a new item has popped up: Cannot find index of "igb1" in ".1.3.6.1.4.1.12325.1.200.1.8.2.1.2".

I am seeing this on all my interfaces...I have configured SNMP for V2 and public has been replaced by Zabbix. Do I need a private SNMP config, to get at this data?

Did you checked with snmpwalk command? Does it return the value for SNMP ID?

Yes I am able to snmpwalk and get information back. What seems to be the issue is now the host side SNMP configuration. I am working thru that.
