Installing Zabbix features to hide status of map elements

    Greetings everyone,

I've been working on creating a Zabbix map utilizing triggers to showcase a Red or Green icon based on the device's ping status.

The progress has been promising; however, I'm looking to conceal the status displayed beneath each element. Currently, the word "OK" appears below my icons.

In my search for a solution, I came across a feature that seems relevant, but I'm uncertain about its installation process. I encountered difficulties finding clear instructions and determining its compatibility with my current Zabbix version, which I believe to be version 6 or 7. Regrettably, I faced challenges in locating my specific version information as well.

I stumbled upon [ZBXNEXT-3186], which purportedly offers the option to hide the "Ok/Problem" text for elements on maps. Has anyone had experience with this feature or knows how to install it?

Your insights or guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

      Never mind,

I discovered that you can do this by going into the "properties" option for the entire map and I think you do this by going to "all maps", and then setting the "Map element label type" to "nothing". This was for Version 6.4.8, hope this helps anyone else out there.
