Hello Zabbix community,
I run several solutions/apps in different AWS accounts and I want to monitor those with Zabbix (version 6.4.4). Zabbix is running in one of these accounts and monitoring via agent2 on each host is working fine.
Now, I try to use the template 'AWS by HTTP' to extend my monitoring and my configured AUTH_TYPE is role_based, access_key is not an option for me. The issue I have is that all checks are pointing to the AWS account Zabbix is located in and I do not see any option to define the account ID. I created roles and policies to grant required permission in my test account i'd like to monitor, without success.
Do I miss something?
I found another post (another issue), where the user added a zabbix agent in each AWS account. I can't imagine that this is the only (or best) solution for a multi account infrastructure.
Thanks a lot in advance.
