HTTP query from Agent

Hello,
Beside using a script, would it be possible to run an http query from agent?
I would need this as the web server (indexing server) is not reachable from outside the monitored server and only locally (with localhost).

I see it includes headers. What would be the best preprocessing to get only the body?

It depends on the body. For example, regex

#([\s\S]*)                           \1

if you get a prometheus exporter and a body starts with a # symbol
