read environment variable by userParameter

Hi,

I want to assign/read an environment variable (for example PAPERSIZE) to a userparameter. All the attempts are listed below. Can anyone help ?

My goal is to assign a sensor reading to environment variable and read and plot by means of user parameter.

I can read and plot staticOne and staticZero. However I cannot read testString. Can anyone help?
