    Trigger debugging / CLI interface

Is there a "live" CLI interface where we can type trigger expression for dev and debug purpose ?

What is your developpement workflow when creating triggers ?

Under "Expression" field is a link "Expression constructor". Clicking there will also reveal a "Test" button...

The expresseion constructor allow to test expression with arbitraty value but not with real data set. It this te only tool to build triggers ?

But what's wrong with arbitrary values? You can enter whatever there and test your expression outcome, why it has to be live data?

That's not wrong. But when you do computational (count, avg, max, min) working on real data, making sure you get result that you need in a realtime CLI interface could be a better trigger developement workflow.

Ok, I see... But I never bothered.. I probably trust Zabbix enough, that it can manage with counting things and giving out min/max values..
