Send e-mail notification for all but two type of events

Hi everyone.

I have a trigger action configured



I am getting notification both for E anf D type of trigges
What is the correct way of configuring trigger action to get all triggers for switches but two: "Link down" and "Optical power"?

Is there a case, when trigger name can contain both "vlan" (or "unavailable by ICMP ping") and "Link down" (or "optical power")? if not, then just drop D and E and you will get notifications when trigger name matches your 2 name condiftions...

Its a bit easier if you use tags for triggers... "notify"-> "yes" or "notify" -> "no".... and all your action needs to do, is to check for one tag value..:P

If you drop conditions D and E, you cannot get anything that relates to D.. your expression will probably work without "custom expression" also and will be something like "(B or C or G) and (A or B)" (it will reorganize letters there...)

That logic is the usual one... AND-s and OR-s which resolve to TRUE or FALSE .... You can search for "truth table" in google, there are generators out there, which will display all possibilities of your logic expression.... like https://web.stanford.edu/class/cs103...th-table-tool/
