I'm trying to setup discovery for all of my Brocade switches which have SNMP v3 correctly configured. In the Discovery Rule setup window I set checks of ICMP Ping (to find the host) and SNMP v3. I'm confused as to what to put for the SNMP OID field. I think I understand that querying a specific OID will give you the data stored in that OID address, so it's important to understand what OID to use. My question is should I just add the base OID that Brocade uses to start it's vendor specific information or do I have to use an OID that returns something specific like the switch name? Thanks!
