Good Morning Everybody,
we try to mark new discovered Hosts as "new".with a Hostgroup. Instead of a Hostgroup, we could work with a tag too, if this possible.
We use a discovery Rule with Action to ping all Devices in the Network.
If a Device Status is "Discovered" it will get the "New Hosts" Hostgroup.
But if a Device is offline for some time, it will be again marked as "discovered", like it's described in the documentation for "discovery Status".
Is there an option i missed? Or know someone a better solution?
PS:
We tried to implement a second discovery Rule with Action, wich removes the Hostgroup, if a zabbix agent was found. But this only toggles the Hostgroup in a loop.
Sorry if i missed a suitable thread for this question.
Thanks for any Answers
