3.2 Server performance every 10 minutes

Every 10 minutes like clock work we see a spike in in the zabbix server poller process going to 80% busy from 0% and thats when we can see random spikes in other graphs and our queues will start going from 0 across the board to 100s at 5 and 10 second slots. No idea what is causing it as we don't poll anything every 10 minutes, only the zabbix server template has anything at the 10 minute interval. Any help on what is triggering this would be appreciated. We are using Zabbix 3.2 and it was doing it on 3.0 as well and running on Debian Jessie.

    - check items with history periond 10min. Polling data some of those items probanly takes more than in should be
    - move away from passive monitoring and start use active one.

We can't use passive monitoring as we use SNMP.
