    Uninstall Zabbix

    Hello,

I failed to activate LDAP authentication for the zabbix webconsole, so I want to uninstall it from our rehat server.

    I have found this instructions
    https://docs.onapp.com/ig/latest/ona...rver-uninstall

and would like to know if there are others steps to have a full uninstall.

    Greetings
    Andreas

    Hi,

This is the same step to remove any Linux package.

      Hi,

Assuming you have installed Zabbix from packages - just go to Download and install Zabbix and choose your platform and all the components you have installed. To perform uninstallation process just replace install command with remove or different depending on the OS Distribution (e.g. instead of dnf install package1 package2 ... use dnf remove package1 package2 ...).

Also as it is stated in docs which you shared you might also consider dropping zabbix database and zabbix database user, however if you plan to reinstall Zabbix you can skip this and leave them as they are.

For full uninstallation you might also consider deleting /etc/zabbix directory with all it's contents where configurations are stored. In addition you can disable autostart on boot for zabbix-server service (and zabbix-agent if also installed) using systemctl disable zabbix-server (zabbix-agent).

      Hope it helps.

      Arkadiusz
