Background of the issue: Mount point (/mysql directory) of server which is hosting Zabbix was 100% full which was unnoticed until it became full and there was a delay in taking actions to add the additional diskspace on the server as well. This has resulted in large number of repetitive email notifications piled up on email exchange or SMTP server and flooded up the email boxes.
Actions taken
• Disable actions and media type.
o Modify the IP address of SMTP to verify the email notifications stoppage
o Disable both Email and Email (html)
o Verify logfiles for error messages, stop the postfix, Zabbix and MySQL database service
o Stopped all the zabbix-agents
i got 35000 email in 1day.
What end all we taken action on above those all are not work still i am getting email from zabbix.
please help me what i have to do.
