Diferences of values between graphs of 2 differents manufacturers on same ethernet

Hi,

I came to compare 2 network traffic graphs from a checkpoint firewall firewall and an HPE fabric switch and I am quite confused by the values received fron them at the same time, check those 2 graphs on a 12h period of time:

I could not see the difference you said.
Are these devices directly connected to each other? Is the firewall directly connected to the switch?
If so, it seems like the traffic is flowing out of the "eth2-LAN" interface and into the Vlan Wan interface.

10Mbs differnece on one way, 12Mbps on the other

It doesn't seem like much considering the amount of traffic you have.

Similar to your scenario, the sample below may gives us the impression that the "br0" interface was sending a bit more data than what "eth0" was receiving.


I believe this is not true because there is a small gap between the time data was collected from the tx interface and the time data was collected from the rx interface.
We can verify this by looking at the value timestamps.
