zabbix and snmp

My zabbix server is showing snmp as down on the switch however snmp is on in the switch?, any ideas how I could solve this, logs are not showing much.

Try to test it from the zbx server using snmpget or snmpwalk commands.

HP Switch connect SNMP on zabbix

Hi Guys,

I'm new on zabbix, my version of zabbix is 3.05 I want to monitor HP 1920G Switch using snmp in zabbix but I got this message: "Timeout while connecting <IP><161>"

I tried using snmpwalk command on linux to connect the HP 1920G Switch
and it works. But if I use zabbix monitoring it will not work just Timeout.

it looks like you HP switch dont support SNMP-Bulkrequests: https://www.zabbix.org/wiki/Bulk_SNM...vice_blacklist deactivate it and it will work (hopefully)

and you have already the communitystring checked?
