Mail is generated even when trigger is not in problem state causing mailbox to full

Hi All,

Mail is configured when trigger is in problem state but in my case mail is generated even when trigger is not in problem state due to this is my mail box is almost full as mails are coming continuously. Even I have disabled trigger still mails are coming.


default condition is taken for mail
A Maintenance status not in maintenance
B Trigger value = PROBLEM

Default operation step duration is taken 60 seconds in operations still 10-12 mails are coming in 1min.

please help in solving this issue as it is eating my inbox heavily

Hi Akansha,


for start you can do the following:

- Stop the script the zabbix is using to send emails.
- Define a rule that email will be send for one host name only.

With these you will have the time to troubleshoot the problem.
