i want to monitor my Tomcat-Servers. I have a perl script running that are parsing some information ( like freememory, totalmemory ... ) and wirte it in a file. The file have the name "freememory" for example and only contains one value (only one cipher per file). I want to monitor this values but i cant find any funktion for this in zabbix.
The only way to monitor this cipher is by creating a file with the exact size of the value and monitor the size of this file. This way is very unprofessional and create much cpu-traffic on my system.
Is there any way to monitor this in a other way?
