Hi All
We have implemented Cisco IOS monitoring and have setup to ignore ports based on the {$NET.IF.IFALIAS.MATCHES}. We only have monitoring for ports with the name "Trunk", "Uplink" and "P1" using (^(?i)Trunk|^(?i)Uplink|^(?i)P1).*$
I would like to modify this so that we monitor all ports, but only enable alerts for those ports (Trunk, Uplink and P1). The other ports, I would like to monitor but not alert as they are user ports which were often going up/down as they are end user devices and cause a lot of un needed alerts.
Any suggestions on how to make the alerts only trigger if they have "Trunk", "Uplinke" or "P1" in their name.
