Need Help!!! How to get the Virtual Machine Guest OS details using VMware API

I successfully integrated my VMware infrastructure with Zabbix 6.4.10 using the provided 'VMware Template'. This template leverages the VMware API to discover and monitor my virtual machines. However, I'm currently seeking assistance in retrieving guest operating system details for these discovered VMs.

I would say first step is to open VMware API documentation and find out, is it possible to query for anything you want to see...

I mean operating system details of the discovered GUEST VM such as Windows Server 2016/Debian GNU/Linux 10.

I have checked the VMware API and found that it has vim.vm.GuestOsDescriptor.GuestOsFamily such as "Windows Operating System" and

vim.vm.GuestOsDescriptor.GuestOsIdentifier for "Windows Server 2016". For details attaching the screenshot for your information.




Could you please guide me how to get this info.
